Abigail L. Phillips (she/her) is an associate professor in the School of Information Studies (SOIS) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). She holds Master’s and Specialist degrees in Library and Information Science from the School of Information at Florida State University. She received her PhD in Information Science the Spring of 2016.

Her research interests include neurodiversity, mental health, madness, disability, accessibility, accommodations, marginalized communities, as well as cyberbullying and bullying. She also explores librarianship as a practice and libraries as both institutions and community spaces.

Dr. Phillips is delighted to discuss scheduling possible speaking engagements, webinars, in-person workshops, and staff development opportunities. With expertise spanning scholarship, writing, library work, and information science, she offers valuable insights and engaging presentations tailored to the unique and forward thinking needs in the information science field.
